Every year on the occasion of the Khmer New Year, Cambodia’s most important annual holiday, we invite Buddhist monks to visit our school and perform a blessing ceremony. Students, staff and even some of our neighbors are invited to join this very important event at Champey Academy but, unfortunately, this year the country was on Covid-19 lockdown so most of the students and staff were confined to their homes.
